With this bug vacuum set, capturing and viewing bugs has never been easier! The concept is simple---a vacuum motor is attached to a gun handle with a trigger to activate the motor. It comes with 2 nozzles to choose from depending on the size of the bug and the location in which you’re catching the bug, and a flexible extender tube that can be attached for those hard to reach bugs. Bug vacuum works very well, but found that sucking a bug out of dirt can result in dirt thrown at face by the impellers of the fan. This happened while making sure the bug was all the way in to the vacuum while holding it up to see. I used a half a styrofoam cup to create a cowell around the impellars to shield the dirt thrown. Glued on with silicone.
