According to Wikipedia, the Tailed Jay Butterfly is a predominantly green and black tropical butterfly belonging to the swallowtail family of butterflies.  It is a non-threatened species that is commonly found in India, Sri Lanka, and throughout Southeast Asia (and sometimes found in Australia).  It is most often found feeding in gardens and urban areas due to it's main food plant being often used as an ornamental tree. An active butterfly, it is usually relatively difficult to catch in open areas due to it's fast flying ability.  Haven't been able to catch one yet?
